I actually teach the after-work yoga classes at my workplace. It is a sweet little perk to be able to offer to employees. Enjoy! In terms of mats, there are a number of good eco-friendly ones out there. I have a Manduka mat--and I love it. They're pricy, but designed to last a lifetime (or longer--according to their website). Another eco-friendly brand is called Jade, but I'm not a fan of these mats because they have an odd smell--and they get very crumbly in the hand and foot areas. There's a Boston-area woman who has an eco-friendly line of yoga mats. A friend of mine just got one--and she is in love with it. (Adorable matching mat straps, too!)
